What I am about - gardens as living ecosystems

In a time of rapid natural habitat loss, our gardens are more important than ever - they represent vital habitats that connect with larger ecosystems around us. My business is focused on transforming gardens into thriving spaces of biodiversity where wildlife can flourish. Each garden is a piece of the larger environmental puzzle, contributing to a healthier and more balanced ecosystem.

while my designs aim to maximize biodiversity, I also believe gardens should be beautiful, inviting spaces that people can enjoy. My approach blends ecological principles with aesthetics, creating environments that are not only beneficial for wildlife but also a pleasure to experience.

A key part of my work is raising awareness about the beauty in the wild. There are no enemies in the garden - every living being, insects to plants, plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy, thriving ecosystem. Gardening is about patience, understanding, and working with nature, not against it.

Through my business, I hope to oinspire others to appreciate the interconnectedness of life and to see their gardens as crucial habitats that support both nature and people.

Meet the Team

  • Growing up in norther Germany, surrounded by beech forests and lakes, my curiosity for natures beauty began at a young age. I spent my childhood foraging and exploring the outdoors, which led me to travel and learn about permaculture in various communities and projects.

After gaining years of hands-on experience, I trained as a professional apiarist on a biodynamic farm in northers Germany, where I studied botany and practiced meadow creation. My fascination with wildflowers and their healing properties inspired me to continue horticultural training in Cornwall, where I became a wildflower specialist for a young company.

Driven by a passion for creating habitats and protecting pollinators, I founded my own business, focusing on ecological garden design and developing spaces that nurture wildlife. As habitat loss accelerates, my goal is to create gardens that provide essential food sources for pollinators and foster biodiversity. This is the heart of my work, and what I care deeply about.

  • Second in command is Reishi, named after a mushroom she is a rescue dog but is now well trained and chief of good girls.
